Have you ever wondered how words can be so much powerful? That even the simplest word can give an impact on humans life?
“Cah Cah Carisma ng radio! DJ Micah Risma…” Micah Rosario Tarlit, known as Micah Risma, she’s a former Disc Jockey (DJ) at MOR Philippines — Baguio. My favorite broadcast journalist since I was 17 years old. Whenever she throws words, each of them goes and sinks into my mind until I realize that I am mesmerized by hers. She catches my interest by how she speaks and thinks. Her voice and words captivate me and it turned me to be her avid listener. What I like more about her is that she’s a very dedicated person, the way Micah Risma brings joy and hopes to those people who are downhearted and hopeless, made me believe that words are really powerful, that it can inspire and change the views of people, that it can drive their motivation deeper and fulfill their satisfaction. I awe her encouragement to people.
I’m intrigued by hearing voices without seeing faces. I thought those words were just playing around on my mind, but on the second thought, it hit me in a sense that words play a big role in everyone’s life. DJ Micah is a genuine person. She’s my favorite broadcast journalist on the radio. I also want to work where my face is hidden and my voice would be my investment, to work where I may be able to encourage a lot of people, as well. Where voice can be heard and questions of listeners will be answered. I want to become a voiceover or a dubber someday. Micah Risma is an inspiration to me. I love her personality even if I don’t see her, I can feel her. DJ Micah Risma is the one who I look up to.
